After a positive start to 2025 at Jerez, Ryan and the Motocorsa Team travelled to Portimão for another two-day official WorldSBK test. Although the weather forecast was not ideal, the team made the most of the situation. On the first day, Ryan finished in 15th place, making him the fastest rookie at a circuit he had last ridden once over six years ago.
The overall feeling was positive. With each lap, Ryan and the team gained a better understanding of the bike, and they continued to make progress in the right direction.

Overall, really happy how the two days have gone here at Portimão, it was nice to get half a day yesterday in the dry and dialled in a little bit more. And then today I managed one dry lap and we decided to do some wet testing, as my first time in the wet on the Ducati and a WorldSBK and it was really successful. My feeling wasn't great to start with and I worked really hard with the team and after a few runs we really got the feeling that I like in the wet and I was able to set some fast times compared to the others on track at the time, so feeling really good.
The team atmosphere is great, all leaving Portimão very happy, still lots of work to be done, but we are on the right track. Loving working with everyone and looking forward to getting over to Australia!
